IU’s “Growing Up” is a good album. She has a lot of talent that is completely wasted in the biz. She actually knows music, which is a rarity within the pool of brainkilling idols that she’s always up against. It’s a losing battle because she’ll never shine where it matters. I don’t know why her management dumbs her down to make her more acceptable to the mainstream, because it’s not gaining her any more fans than when she performed music with artistic merit. “Marshmallow” is an insult to her intelligence, especially because she’s capable of something like this:

Give this performance something on the grand scale of Big Bang’s “Lies” from the 2007 MKMFs and it’d make for an amazing concert performance.

So I’ve finished Triple and, surprise, I liked Lee Jung Jae so much that I wanted to watch more stuff he’s in.

Meh. His last project was “Air City” and I like K-dramas, but I don’t like em that much. (So I’ll just read the recaps that Dramabeans did :D)

Anyhoo, I remembered as I was browsing recaps that DBSK did two songs for the Air City OST, one of which is one of my fave DBSK songs. Really brings back the memories:
