This was one of the loveliest harmonizations I’ve ever heard. I actually teared a little. I love you, Kim Soo-hyun! I love you IU! You guys should be duet buddies for life.

I find the Dream High story kind of silly, but there are tons of little gems nestled in everywhere that I can’t completely ignore it. (Like Wooyoung’s reactions during the whole thing. LOVE.)

IU’s “Growing Up” is a good album. She has a lot of talent that is completely wasted in the biz. She actually knows music, which is a rarity within the pool of brainkilling idols that she’s always up against. It’s a losing battle because she’ll never shine where it matters. I don’t know why her management dumbs her down to make her more acceptable to the mainstream, because it’s not gaining her any more fans than when she performed music with artistic merit. “Marshmallow” is an insult to her intelligence, especially because she’s capable of something like this:

Give this performance something on the grand scale of Big Bang’s “Lies” from the 2007 MKMFs and it’d make for an amazing concert performance.
