김종욱 찾기 (Finding Mr. Destiny)

I have a confession to make, and that’s that I never really liked “Coffee Prince” as much as everyone else in the Kdrama world did. It was alright but I wasn’t a huge Gong Yoo fan and I’m definitely not a Yoon Eun-hye fan, so I watched it just to find out what was the big deal. Yes Gong Yoo is hot, but I never really got it. Til now.

Finding Mr. Destiny is the cutest movie I’ve seen in a while. Beautifully shot and edited, great soundtrack, and enough intensity from the two leads that makes this movie just a cut above the standard rom-com fare. Watch it if you can, it’s really a visual treat. Oh and dear god, Gong Yoo is hot.

I love this movie and i love everything about it except that Im Soojung kinda over act and her singing wasn’t that believable but other than that i enjoyed this movie.

I watched this right after I saw your post.
Hhahaa, I don’t have enough patience for Korean movies but somehow this movie captured me. It was so simple but good. This is probably one of my favorites.Gah, He was so cute when he played his younger self at the airport, he was so suave as “Kim Jong Wook” and he was good as the nitpicky, tidy, honest man.

Out of curiosity, why do you not have patience for K-movies? I would think that K-dramas are the ones that are not very patience-inspiring…

I actually don’t have patience for kdramas either but I can tolerate movies more.
Some of the korean movies I’ve seen were pretty slow, generic , and so so.
