I just finished watching this episode today and I must say that the whole Shinwoo-Minam relationship is really pissing me off. Its the same thing episode after episode. Shinwoo tries to tell Go Minam he likes her in some backhanded, passive way and then he fails and then he gets his heart broken again. That whole storyline just needs to be cut off, right now!!

I used to be Team Shinwoo at the beginning because he was good looking and nice and romantic but by this point I am praying that he will grow some balls and either directly confess his feelings to Minam or just move on already!! He needs to be out of the way so we can get some more Taekyung-Minam action cause i felt that was lacking in this episode (except for the whole “fan” thing which was cute). Taekyung is pretty direct and knows how to go for what he wants, which is good for this story line b/c it keeps things moving (although i will admit that he seems a little controlling at points).

As for Minam, at this point I will tolerate her because she is so sweet but not disgustingly cutesy. She just needs some sense and confidence knocked into her.

I felt empathy for the very first time for Shinwoo in this episode. He seems genuinely frozen on a ledge – up until 2 episodes ago, I think he thought he was doing what was best for her, (also secretly hoping she would come to him & tell him her big secret) and being a big romantic wanting to make a grand gesture (lets face it, if she hadn’t already fallen for Taekyung he would have make quite an impression), but since realising that Minam likes Taekyung he must know that he’s missed his chance & yet he’s still in love with her, watching as she fawns all over some other guy & not just some random guy, his friend and band mate.

He’s struggling to tell her now I think for self preservation – he knows deep down that this is going to hurt like hell when he reveals himself to be rejected for your friend. So he tells her half truths and hints about his feelings in the hope that she will realise and fall for him.

I’m not Team Shinwoo in anyway, because Taekyung keeps stepping up to the plate, but this was Shinwoo episode in a way – he finally became more that a cardboard second lead for me (you got a hint of it when he yelled at her for standing him up at the restaurant) and I’m intrigued as to how he will handle the rejection.

Anyway, quickly how cute was the fan web chat I laugh and was charmed by Taekyung responses to Minam answers (this is why Shinwoo will never be enough to win me over) hee hee.

Looking forward to tonight’s episode – only three more left…..sob. Thanks for the recaps!

It does feel like we are in the middle of the story. But i wonder if thats becuase we are soooo used the them draaaaaging on the drama to the point you want to throw yourself of a building?

I don’t know which irks me more, Shinwoo’s passiveness or Minam’s total cluelessness. The whole thing basically did nothing for me, making the story regress rather than progress. I didn’t need another ep of SW’s story. Although I am looking forward to Jeremy’s part, looks more hurtful than what SW is going through. I hope things are going to tie up soon, it’s already freaking ep. 13 out of 16…and it still feel like it’s in the middle of the story and nowhere near the end.

The only thing that’s “wrong” with Shinwoo is that he’s so passive about his feelings. If only he would step it up JUST A LITTLE I would be happy, even if I knew he won’t get the girl anyway.

Friday Night Lights! I was in an area where they were filming last week. ‘Twas odd.

In terms of Shinwoo…I’ve got to say that I still have a soft spot for the guy. Sure he’s full of delusions. Sure he plays the waiting game (forever) and is a bit too tentative, but when he saw Minam with those shoes and flowers…that look on his face was just so, well, I feel for the poor guy. I think if he had a bit more bounce (like how he seems behind the scenes), less solemn, had a bit more guts, he’d be a pretty good lead contender! Not to mention…he’s a looker :P

But then again, with Minam being as dense as she is…and him being able to read situations better than the other characters (but not quite reacting well to situations), I don’t think those two would be the relationship I’d be cheering for. They need to bring in another female character to give him some resolution (seriously people!)…that and give one for Jeremy too (from the looks of the preview!) Haha, oh the angst. Maybe I should be watching a comedy to brighten up my mood instead :P …but I still have to watch that new episode of Friday Night Lights! Oh how addictive the angst of Dillon, Texas is…
