Because 5 things is (way) easier than 43
I like the idea of 43things, but frankly, I can’t list off the top of my head fourty-three goals before it starts sounding like a grocery list of cliches, and the randomness of the number “43″ bugs me. If there are things you think enough about doing, you wouldn’t need a special portal on the internet to jot them down. It’s all there in the brain. *taps head*
Five things I want to do before I die:

1. Own a house in Hawaii.
Ow. I was doing a search on Flickr for Hawaii photos and it actually hurt me to see how beautiful this place is :( One user aptly titled his/her photo, “I Left a Fragment of my Heart in Hawaii.”

2. Visit New Zealand, and more specifically, go to the sites that were used to film The Lord of the Rings. I think I’ve watched these movies enough times to warrant a magically nerdy visit to the land of Middle Earth.

3. Master Chinese and Korean. Chinese is probably my main goal, and it’ll tickle me pink if I could do Korean too.

4. Work at a place that fosters creativity. Look at that awesome cubical. It’s probably a really nice feeling to wake up knowing you’re gonna go into work at a place you like looking at and like doing work in.

5. Be cool with what I have. Be cool with what I don’t have. Be cool with me.
Tell me yours?
